The picture below is the series except I do not have the 6th book which is called the Hunted. The second book was The Dead, which I reviewed here. The first book in the series was The Enemy, which I reviewed here. The End is the final instalment in the series. The stories are about the kids survival (or not). I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves zombies and an apocalyptic world with some horror and no mercy. The Enemy Series is a series of books by Charlie Higson about all adults becoming diseased sickoвЂ™s that like to eat children. But every death in this series was really sad because as I said Charlie Higson does not let us forget that they are just children so of course no one wants to see a child die, right? Also, Charlie Higson really puts his readers on edge because seriously no one is safe. Other memorable and more favoured character are Maxie, Blue, Arran, Small Sam, The Kid and others. My favourite is Ed who is one of the older kids and to me, the most reasonable and less insane than some of the characters in this book. So, there were many important characters in this series. Like, the events in the 1st book was happening at the same time in 3rd book. In this series, the timeline in each book is different. As much as I like the idea of closing off. They werenвЂ™t as scary as the first and the last two. The End (The Enemy Book 7) by Charlie Higson is the 7th and is being labeled the final volume in his YA apocalyptic series. The first 2 books were as captivating as this but throughout the 3rd, 4th and 5thвЂ¦.not so much. Yeah Ive always thought that seemed like a big oversight by Higson. Puffin Books released The Enemy in the UK on 3 September 2009, Disney Hyperion in the US on 11. The book takes place in London, United Kingdom, after a worldwide sickness has infected adults, turning them into something akin to voracious, cannibalistic zombies. Every encounter with the вЂsickos'(zombies) were scary and completely enticing. So in the ending they kill all those sickos so they dont make the virus spread. The Enemy is a post-apocalyptic young adult horror novel written by Charlie Higson. Charlie Higson did a great job at not letting us forget that they are just children. What I did like about this book is that it was creepy and scary and I find it incredibly realistic. I wish that the book could just go on for a few more pages. I wonвЂ™t say any here so as to avoid spoilers. I didnвЂ™t really like the ending of this book because it left me with so many questions. I had started reading this series about 5 years ago and I am finally glad we know what happens in the end of this entire story.
